About Me
Hi, I'm Amy!
I have long held a fascination with fiber arts; my aunt taught me to crochet as a child but something about knitting always deeply fascinated me.
Watching two needles click together to create absolute magic and endless possibilities. About 9 years ago I met a local instructor (who I now consider wonderful mentor and friend) who taught me to knit. This unlocked a deep love for this art form. Over the years, I absorbed everything I could about this art form. Now, I have the privilege to share this passion with others by teaching at my local yarn shop, and I'm even spreading my wings as a designer!
My ultimate dream extends beyond the yarn. I’m working towards retiring from the corporate world to embrace a simpler life. Imagine a cozy tiny house nestled on a farm, surrounded by fluffy alpacas and gentle sheep. That’s the future I’m knitting for myself, filled with both creative pursuits and the joys of a slower pace.
